It has been confirmed that this year’s A Level and GCSE results will be published on the initially planned dates of 13 & 20 August respectively.
The Government have now issued their official guidelines regarding the grading of national examined subjects (GCSE, AS and A levels & Extended Project Qualifications) for 2020.
Southport College and King George V welcomed Ofsted inspectors into college from February 11-14 2020 and we are very proud to announce the final report has judged their overall effectiveness to be good. Both colleges had already been graded ‘Good’ and now the latest and third visit confirms the merged college is also ‘Good’.

Tutors Phil Jackson, Kevin Toole and Derek Hughes were very lucky in securing enough tickets to take 31 of our Engineering students on board the HMS Prince of Wales.
