As a student at Southport College you will have access to a wide range of information, advice and guidance throughout your time with us. Starting college might seem like a big leap which is why we have a range of support in place to make things easy as possible.
The Student Hub is a one stop shop for any information, advice and guidance you may need before and during your time at College. There are a team of Student Advisors available five days a week to support you in finding the right course and supporting your chosen career pathway.
We aim to ensure that you have the support you need to enable you to make the most of your time at College and plan your future.

What support is available to students?
Southport College offers a wide range of support to all students, from careers advice & guidance and financial packages to in classroom learning support and personal support, including counselling.
How do I tell you about my support needs?
When you complete the Southport College application form you will be asked to state any support needs. After you have submitted your form, we will contact you to discuss your needs. You can also tell us about or amend your support needs as part of your course discussion or when you enrol for your chosen course.
Who do I speak to about support?
You can contact our support team directly to discuss any support needs or you can visit/contact the Student Hub who will refer you to our support staff if necessary.
I am a parent, what help is there for students with children?
