Southport College wins big at Southport Flower Show

Both staff and students worked incredibly hard on their exhibition, which included an array of flower arrangements in the form of bridal art. From bridal bouquets to floral adornments on a wedding dress, the display showcased an impressive range of creative flair and technical expertise.

Their talent and hard work was noticed by judges who awarded them with the highest accolade of a Large Gold Medal.

Throughout the 4-day event, staff and students created free button holes for visitors and spread the word about our fantastic range of floristry courses for adults, which start from September.

All of us at Southport College are incredibly proud of the entire floristry department. We can’t wait to see what they get up to in the next academic year!
