Ben Huyton
Ben Huyton is a passionate photography especially motorsports and this year have found a love of portraiture. He later decided that he would like to peruse photography as a future career after completing his college course. Ben is currently gaining work experience at horse trails and in the summer will be photographing the Formby festival.
Unas Annus
About my project
In this project Ben has blended photography with a You Tube project that he was very invested in called Unas Annus. This channel was run by Markiplier and Crankgameplays was about the value of time. To maximise a year they uploaded 1 video every day even through the pandemic. Ben having watched every single video and the 12 hour live stream at the conclusion of the channel. After 365 days were over one million live viewers tuned in to watch the channel end.
Ben’s visual inspiration is in mimicking the black and white aesthetic and outfits of the two hosts, both in suits, one black one white. Additional influences for the photographic genres in this project were surrealism and vintage Hollywood lighting and styling, ultimately converting all the images to black and white.
