As an adult learner you’ll have access to the careers and university resources and you can also access course and careers advice and guidance through our Student Information Centre. You tutor will also discuss careers options and applications with you.
Meet our students
Samantha Fulstow, HND Photography I chose Southport College University Centre because it was local to me and my previous work experience and portfolio were considered to provide entry onto the programme. Upon visiting the University Centre, I was impressed with the outstanding photography facilities and really liked the separate Higher Education areas. Studying the HND photography provided me with the opportunity to work with facilities that were new to me, such as the dark room, as well as improving my skills on more familiar projects, such as studio work. The course is a challenging programme that requires a lot of self-discipline and the ability to work independently but I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. It is a fun course that really prepares you for the world of work, and affords both the experience and confidence needed to go out on your own and work as a professional photographer.
