Musical Theatre Programme
Our exciting Musical Theatre Course is brand new for 2022 and has been deliberately created for students who are looking to pursue a career as a professional performer and will be a real stepping stone towards helping you achieve that dream. It also provides strong transferable skills including communication, self motivation, confidence, team work, public speaking and the ability to think creatively.
Our talented Musical Theatre team, as well as being fully qualified teachers, have all trained at prestigious theatre schools and continue to work in the industry as performers, so they will share their experience and advice to help you progress.
Our course
This brand new fantastic course offers high quality training in acting, dance and singing,all taught by talented and experienced staff, who have all worked in “the business” and are passionate about all things theatrical. They will prepare you for this competitive industry and help you develop the confidence, drive and determination you will need to succeed.
You will also take part in various high level musicals and theatrical shows throughout your time with us, giving you a chance to gain valuable performance experience and showcase your talents to a public audience.
Whilst our Musical Theatre Programme is brand new for 2022, Performing Arts has a long successful history at Southport College. Previous students have gone on to the country’s top theatre schools and secured successful performing careers, as well as careers presenting, in theatre administration, script writing and teaching.
